Greex was a decentralized options and futures trading platform designed to make strategy-based trading more accessible. The product allowed users to apply predefined trading strategies, understand risk-reward visually, and execute trades seamlessly across web and mobile.
My Role
I led the complete product design for both mobile and desktop platforms — from wireframing and UX architecture to polished UI. This included research, onboarding design, dashboards, and advanced strategy execution flows.
Key Challenge
Designing for a space I had no prior experience in. Options and futures trading comes with a steep learning curve, even for users - let alone designers. I spent time understanding trading logic, strategies, risk curves, and market mechanics before even starting the UX.
The Solution
I created a structured UX flow where users could:
Browse and apply prebuilt trading strategies
View strategy logic, risk profile, and expected outcomes
Place trades confidently through a simplified execution UI
Track trades and performance in real time through a clear portfolio dashboard
What Stood Out
The strategic decision to educate users while letting them act. The flow didn’t just look clean, it supported decision-making. Every screen was designed to remove hesitation and guide action.
Outcome
The platform was successfully designed and tested, with strong feedback during early demos. Although the company shut down due to investor issues, the product foundation remains one of my proudest projects - a complete, self-driven deep-dive into a complex domain translated into a clean, functional product experience.
